Geo Travel offers many different tours from lake Mývatn, North Iceland.

We focus on the highlands and our most popular tour is  the super jeep tour to Askja caldera and the latest eruption in Iceland at Holuhraun. The tour is a full-day Super-Jeep Tour with easy hiking. Duration: 12 to 14 hours.     http://geotravel.is/tour/askja-holuhraun-super-jeep-tour/

In winter we are offering Dog sledding tours with our amazing team of Siberian Husky sled dogs.   We star our dog sledding tours from our Kennel at Heiði farm.  Where wea live.    http://geotravel.is/tour/dog-sledding/

In north Iceland there are many interesting multi day hiking trails and we offer logistic service to hikers and groups.  We can book the mountain hut and take care of transport of luggage, food and drinks between the huts.   So the hikers only need to carry their day pack.

During winter, Geo Travel offers many different winter tours and northern light packages in north and east Iceland.     We also offer winter activity such as snow mobile, snow shoe hiking, hiking tours and more.

Our tailor made tours make it possible for you to rent a Super-Jeep with a guide, and visit places for one day or more.  We can start and end our tours anywhere in Iceland.     We can for example pick you up in Reykjavík(Keflavik international airport) and visit in one multi day tour the most interesting places in the highlands like Landmannalaugar, Kerlingafjöll, Laki, Askja, New eruption in Holuhraun, Kverkfjöll and end our tour in by lake Mývatn where you can rent a normal car and drive the easy asphalt roads on your own.

The following are examples of tours: Askja and Kverkfjöll in one tour, Dettifoss, Gæsavatnaleið/Dyngjufjallaleið to Nýidalur and Landmannalaugar, Seljahjallagil with Þrengsla and Lúdentarborgir.

The goal with our tours is to give our guests a superb experience and at the same time have a positive impact on the local community and also to support nature conservation work in the area.

Our goal is to give travellers a memorable, enjoyable and educational tour, while ensuring that our groups minimise their impact on the delicate Icelandic natural environment.
